“Boundaries Are Not Rebellion”

My Goal: Reframe the spiritual guilt around saying “no” and setting boundaries — a major tool against manipulation.

You’ve been taught that walking away is giving up.
That drawing a line is pride.
That silence is rebellion.
But here’s what Scripture shows us:

  • Jesus walked away from people who rejected Him.

  • Moses didn’t beg Pharaoh — he delivered a boundary.

  • Even the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that wisdom means knowing when to engage… and when to step back.

All Prophets had boundaries. They didn’t stay where they weren’t received. Neither should you.
— Sal from Proverbs & Prosperity

Boundaries aren’t rebellion.
They are discernment in action.

🛡️ Don’t let spiritual language make you question spiritual wisdom.
